Improving Pet Health

One of the most important reasons to support dog rescues and charities is that it helps improve pet health. For many dogs who are rescued from abusive or dangerous situations, the fight for life is just beginning. These dogs may have been malnourished, neglected, or even physically abused. They may also have been exposed to diseases or parasites and may need to overcome dangerous infections before they can start living a normal happy life. Rescues have the capability to give these dogs the treatment, care, and patience they need to recover. From complex surgeries, physical therapy, and foster care, dog rescues help rehabilitate these abused animals so they can be ready for their new life in a loving home. However, the road to recovery is an expensive one, that's why dog rescues need the support of their community to help them continue to provide adequate care to abused animals.
